The challenge for Smartflow was to support AMTeK in organizing more than 20,000 often complex inspections per year by their independent members.
Smartflow is a software application to model, prepare, execute and analyze inspection checklists. Inspectors in the field use Smartflow's mobile app to efficiently execute workflows and capture data that is shared with internal and external stakeholders in real time and via advanced reporting.
Aboma is an independent leading inspection company in the Netherlands, advising over 600 organizations for more than sixty years. The company focuses on expert (project) supervision, carrying out inspections, and offering training. At Aboma, they carry out high-level inspections, whether it concerns (construction) equipment, passenger lifts, or hoisting and lifting equipment in wind turbines.
The application, known to users as the AMTeK Inspections app, is used by over 600 companies on both mobile devices (phones and tablets)and on desktop computers. The application enables a complete and standardized digital inspection process that offers functionalities like data reporting, customer portals, automated workflows, archived inspection data, and many more.
AMTeK is built on top of the Smartflow inspection platform, ensuring uptime & updates, innovating with new features, and ensuring proper management of tool as well as a user-friendly and intuitive user interface.
Smartflow has built the desired intelligent testing solution to the full satisfaction of Aboma / AMTeK. The app is also used within the Aboma organization by its own employees. All requirements for the solution have been realized on time. Aboma / AMTeK is now an ambassador for Smartflow. The quantitative Smart Case can be expressed in euros:
- Number of inspections per year: 20,000.
- Savings per inspection: 20 minutes.
- Internal hourly rate: € 60.
- Annual savings are 20,000 x ⅓ hours x € 60 = € 400,000
