Smart fields. Digitally linking field production to the office provides us with better control and near real-time insight on data — plus we're connected with each other. This enables us to use our mobile to relay the status of work processes while in the production field. The project manager also has insight and can stay on top of the progress, so continuity is guaranteed.

Our priority is to establish a secure internet connection, this very concern has changed the sector dramatically. We call this 'smart mobility': the intelligent use of data and mobile work processes. Why? Not only is this more secure, but it also pleases employees. With ATEX devices, we've taken a major step forward. We request work permits via the app and obtain approval (or not) via the app. This process requires knowledge and a well thought-out IT infrastructure. People and technology are digitally connected.

Digital planning workflow

Together with Advando Project Control, Smartflow has developed an app that provides daily insight into the planning process during a turnaround. As a result, the planner knows which team is working on what and how far along it is in completing the task. The Smartflow app also integrates with the planning software Primavera.
